Whilst turbocharging has been viewed as standard equipment for a long time with regards to large engines and even commercial vehicle engines and diesel engines in passenger vehicles have been turbocharged in almost all cases for more than a decade, turbocharging is now gaining enormous significance with regards to gasoline engines. Turbocharging in connection to downsizing supports the use of alternative fuels and the reduction of exhaust emissions and fuel consumption.

Although turbocharging can already look back on more than 100 years of development history, it still has considerable potential for further development.

APC has made it its task to develop the possibilities of turbocharging even further and to continue to improve the increasing requirements regarding fuel consumption, emission and vehicle dynamics through innovative solutions.
